Wild that you think you’re on my mind. My atten Wild that you think you’re on my mind.

My attention isn’t on anyone else. It’s on keeping the parts of myself I’ve worked for while still chasing what’s next.
I’m thinking about how to stay strong without losing my endurance, how to push my limits without sacrificing what I’ve already built, how to show up for myself in a way that actually matters.

The tension isn’t with anyone else. It’s about holding the paradox (finding the both/and): strength and speed, patience and progress, effort and recovery, pushing hard but knowing when to step back.
That’s the real work. That’s the part that no one sees, but that matters most.

And yeah, I still want to keep my ass while running long distances.
But more than that, I want to hold onto the self I’ve built, the discipline I’ve earned, the grit and resilience that got me here, all while moving toward what I’m capable of next.

Maybe the best part is that I’m too busy leveling myself up to care about anything else.

Join me for an Alpha workout. (Not shown, the wa Join me for an Alpha workout.

(Not shown, the warm-up where we get the heart rate up and incorporate mobility and stability work. The goal is to prep the nervous system, open up range of motion, and get the body ready to produce force)

🏋️‍♀️Power comes first
I paired power cleans with med ball slams. Here’s why 👉 Your nervous system is freshest at the start of a workout, which is exactly when you want to train power.
Cleans teach you to generate force quickly. Slams reinforce that same intent but in a different pattern: fast, aggressive, and athletic.

💪 Strength work after power
Front squats were the main lift today, paired with mobility as “active rest.” Front squats demand posture, core stability, and leg strength… all things that transfer beyond the gym.
The mobility keeps me moving, reinforces positions, and makes my rest time work for me.

💙 Accessory superset
Reverse lunges from a deficit + push-ups. Single-leg work challenges balance, stability, and coordination.
Push-ups bring in upper body pushing strength while also training core control. Together, they check multiple boxes in one block.

✅ Finish with core + pulls
Copenhagen planks + seated rows.
Adductor strength, anti-rotation, and upper back work to tie everything together. These smaller details matter. They’re what build resilience and durability for the long game.

Cue the betrayal 😂 Fitness trackers were never Cue the betrayal 😂

Fitness trackers were never designed to accurately measure the value of strength training. They’re decent at tracking steps or steady-state cardio, but when it comes to lifting weights, they miss the point 🤷‍♀️

Because here’s what your watch can’t calculate:
1️⃣ The way progressive overload forces your muscles to adapt and get stronger
2️⃣ The increase in lean muscle mass that boosts your metabolism long-term
3️⃣ The impact on bone density and joint health (aka future-proofing your body)
4️⃣ The confidence that comes from picking up heavy things and realizing you can

Strength training is about so much more than what a calorie tracker shows you. Calories burned is the least interesting metric of your workout.

So when your watch says “108 cal ” but you’re stacking bricks of strength… Trust your body, not your watch.

This is exactly why we train inside The Den.

🐺 It’s not about chasing numbers on a screen, it’s about building lasting strength, resilience, and confidence that goes way beyond calorie burn.

💙 If you’re ready to stop letting your watch define your progress and finally train with a program that supports your whole self 🐺 The Den is where you belong. Link in bio.

Let ‘em watch. I’m reminded of the quote by Let ‘em watch.

I’m reminded of the quote by Theodore Roosevelt, in his speech The Man in the Arena:
‘It is not the critic who counts… The credit belongs to the one who is actually in the arena.’

Roosevelt’s words still cut deep because the arena is where life actually happens.

It’s where you risk being seen, risk stumbling, risk looking ‘cringe,’ but it’s also where you build resilience, courage, and the kind of self-trust that can’t be earned from the sidelines.

Too often we let the fear of judgment keep us in the cheap seats. Safe, quiet, unnoticed. But regret lives there. Not growth. Not becoming.

I’d rather step into the arena again and again 👉 messy, imperfect, trying, failing, rising… than silence myself to make others comfortable.

Cringe isn’t the problem. Playing small is.

So let them watch. And while they’re watching, I’ll keep building, lifting, striving, becoming.

💙 How about you?
Becoming doesn’t happen on race day. It doesn’ Becoming doesn’t happen on race day. It doesn’t happen after the PR, the successful launch, the promotion, or the perfectly executed workout.

It happens in the quiet, messy, unglamorous moments. The shitty reps you grind through, the bricks you stack when no one is watching, the small choices that add up over time.

It also doesn’t happen when you’re scrolling Instagram comparing your training to people light years ahead of you.

It happens in the laps. The bricks. (The skipped reps and the finished ones) The parts nobody sees.

So no, today wasn’t perfect. But I laid another brick. And that’s the point 🧱
We need to retire the phrase “I don’t know how We need to retire the phrase “I don’t know how she does it.”

Because you do know.
She does it by planning, by sacrificing, by asking for help when she can (and not getting it when she should).
She does it by holding the invisible loads most people never see.
She does it by constantly adapting.

When we say “I don’t know how she does it,” it might sound like admiration, but it actually minimizes her work. It makes her effort sound like magic instead of what it really is:
👉 relentless commitment, creativity, and grit.

Language matters. And women don’t need more impossible standards or backhanded compliments. They need recognition.

So let’s start saying what we really mean:
✨ You’re incredible.
✨ I see you.
✨ I admire your strength.

Because you don’t need to be a superhero.
You just deserve to be seen.
Happy weekend fam. A roundup for you 🤠 it’s Happy weekend fam. A roundup for you 🤠
it’s the first one for me 😈 juuuuust try me.
So many women tell me, “I wish I would have star So many women tell me, “I wish I would have started sooner. I wish I would have just kept with it.”
But that’s what perfectionism does… it keeps you waiting for the “right” time and then makes you feel like you failed if life interrupts.

Strength isn’t built on perfect streaks.
It’s built on showing up, again and again, in the messy middle.
It’s learning how to train with your life instead of against it.

You don’t need to wait for the perfect schedule, the perfect energy, or the perfect plan. You just need a place to start, and the support to keep going.

That’s what we do here. That’s what The Den is all about.

🐺 DM me “DEN” and let’s get you started.
Change is inevitable. But the way it takes root, w Change is inevitable.
But the way it takes root, whether it softens you, hardens you, makes you more empathic, hopeful, cynical, or fearful… that part is up to you.

It’s okay to let the world break your heart. It’s impossible to play whack-a-mole with every atrocity, but you can let them move you. You can speak up, stay rooted in your lane, and remind yourself and others not to lose hope.

There’s a story of a man who stood outside the White House every night during the Vietnam War with a single candle. A reporter asked if he really thought standing there alone would change anything. He replied, “I’m not doing it to change them. I’m doing it so they don’t change me.”

That’s what I fear most. That we grow numb. That we forget what must never be lost: hope, faith, resilience, love, courage, joy.

Change doesn’t always roar in with fire and fury. Sometimes it shows up quietly, in the ways we refuse to look away. In the conversations we choose to have. In the courage to keep our hearts soft, even when it would be easier to harden. And maybe that’s the work. That we carry our candles, however small, not to single-handedly light the world, but to keep our own flame alive long enough to remind others that theirs still matters too.
Sometimes even the strongest women forget just how Sometimes even the strongest women forget just how strong they are. Consider this your reminder.
Share this as a reminder to the women who may need this today too. 💛

It’s about finding what actually centers you, even if it’s sitting on a rock instead of a yoga mat under your feet.

So here’s your reminder: you do you. Small, weird, grounding moments count. And yes, it’s allowed to be messy.

💌 P.S. If you need a little extra grounding, DM me. The Den is full of women who get it 🐺💙
We’ve been fed the lie of individualism… that We’ve been fed the lie of individualism…
that we should be able to do it all alone, that needing help makes us weak.

But we were never meant to exist in isolation.
We are deeply interconnected.
Our strength is multiplied when we lean on each other.

Strength isn’t white-knuckling your way through.
It isn’t staying quiet and carrying the weight alone.

Real strength is asking for help and allowing yourself to receive it.
It’s trusting that you’re still capable and powerful even when you lean on those around you.
It’s remembering that letting others support you doesn’t make you less. It makes you human.

And we need to recognize our full humanity.

🐺 If you’ve been carrying it all by yourself, send me a DM with the word STRONG and I’ll share how the women in The Den do this.
Real belonging isn’t built on hierarchy. It’s Real belonging isn’t built on hierarchy.
It’s built on shared strength, care, and connection.
On being witnessed + held as your whole self.

We’re not meant to do it all alone.
We become our fullest selves together.
🐺🐺🐺
If you’ve ever heard that and felt that little s If you’ve ever heard that and felt that little sting, this one’s for you.

I used to bend over backwards proving I hadn’t changed. Chasing approval that was never enough.

Change is really the only constant.
We grow whether we like it or not.

And the moment I stopped fighting it, I started showing up for myself.
I stopped people-pleasing. I set boundaries. I stepped into my strength instead of shrinking to fit someone else’s expectations.

That doesn’t happen by accident. It takes years of intentional work. It takes courage. It took saying yes to yourself over and over again.

So if someone says “you’ve changed”… let it be confirmation that you’re doing exactly what you came here to do.

Because you didn’t do all that work just to stay the same 💙
