Meet Jackie

Alpha Member

Meet Jackie. Jackie is a Physical Therapist, a mom, and busy entrepreneur. And while Jackie *could* write her own training program, she joined Alpha so that she didn’t have to. Jackie loves to be able to play tennis competitively, go on hikes with her toddlers in tow, and wanted a training program to prepare her for those things. Alpha has been the answer for Jackie. After her second baby, Jackie has made it back onto the tennis court to compete in high level matches and is running, lifting, and enjoying being active in her life.

Allison Tenney

Head Coach

As a former competitive elite athlete and university-level soccer coach for 13+ years, I’ve experienced first-hand the significance and major ease of effective, efficient programming that’s done for you and ready to go. And once I became a mom, business owner, and everything in between, I realized more than ever just how much of a game-changer it really is—which is why I created Alpha.

As your coach, it’s my promise to extend to you the grace, compassion, time, care, and attention you truly deserve to reach your audacious dreams—and hopefully, teach you how to show up in the same way for yourself, too.

Certifications

As your Head Coach, I bring you my expertise as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CSCS), on top of my USA Weightlifting, FMS, SFG, and RKC kettlebell certifications.

ASHLEY BARRY

Co-Coach

Meet Ashley, your co-coach in Alpha. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS) with a career that traces back to her days as a competitive athlete. With over 12+ years of experience in the field, Ashley currently serves as a coach within a high-level high school softball program. Her extensive involvement in athletics has profoundly influenced her perspective on the human body’s capabilities and the empowering, restorative, and educational aspects of movement.

Ashley firmly believes in the transformative power of physical activity, whether it’s lifting heavy weights, moving swiftly, or practicing deliberate, slow breathing. Her mission is to guide you in harnessing the potential of movement as a means for positive enhancements in your life and self.

In her role as your Coach, Ashley not only brings her NSCA-CSCS certification but also maintains a commitment to continuous education, focusing on the integration of breath and movement modifications to tailor training specifically to your needs.

Alpha is a gym-based online strength and conditioning program geared for those with access to gym equipment. You can always make equipment swaps based on what you have access to, but the program is written with the below equipment.
